Description: Between the
vision and the creation of something there is a passage so abstract that it can
only be interpreted as a burst of light. The vision is a sensation of light
which is then materialized in the matter. I chose the image of Richard Serra,
example of visionary artist and creator of universes. In the magazine picture
cut his eyes to meet them directly within a rectangular shape as a space of
light that this sculptor poses much earlier his eyes before creating his work,
i.e., in his mind. The eyes are dislocated, surrounded by dog hairs and
positions so to interpret a way of strange thinking. This piece has no frame
and is signed at the back.
