I used my
drawings complete based on conventional techniques with collage, painting and
mixed media techniques. The drawing is wonderful because I feel that in my
process of creating gives me a graphic first support, while it inspired me to
expand the line with new shapes and elements that I can integrate into it,
knowing that at the end, the line turns into mass, objects, vulnerable to
change, or abstract images coming to surprise me in a new experimental Act as
it may happen sometimes to get to be more minimalist. In this regard I interact
with the working style of artists such as Picasso and Anselm Kiefer, whose
works have never been concrete, results but a process by which the work suffers
a traffic that never ends. In my drawings I'm interested in the gleam of metal
of aluminium, the strength of the black, the gesture of the stroke, volume, and
graphic as constructive means appearing gradually. My topics are diverse and
usually are born inside my desires and experiences in which treatment issues of
love, sexuality, modes of being persons, my fears, war, human attitudes, etc. I
am a visual artist, was born in 1967 and currently still living and working in
Venezuela. In 2001, I got my first prize at the Biennale of Arts for students
of the Universidad de los Andes; 2002, I finished my studies in Visual Arts at
